Hey there Vikings fans. Winter Park and the purple and gold masses have been almost abnormally quiet since Thursday, and considering the point in the offseason, I'm down with that. Doesn't give me a whole lot to blog about but let's face it - if ever there was a time in the season that no news is good news, it's the here and now.
I mean, just look at Gronkowski - splashed all over the headlines for the past two days with his fifth surgery in the past few years, this one on his back, not his forearm. No boys and girls, I think we can be thankful the only purple in the headlines is the purple drank JaMarcus Russell claims to have given up in his quest to return to the NFL, sans a whopping twelve pounds from his heaviest offseason weight.
